This dried orange garland hangs above the window in our kitchen. I love the natural element the oranges bring, especially layered with fresh greenery. This fresh and clean vibe fits right in with the holiday decor I’m going for this year.

Here’s how to make it:

  • Slice 4 oranges 1/4″ thick
  • Lay out on wire rack on a sheet pan
  • Pat dry with paper towels
  • Bake for 3-4 hours on 200 degrees
  • Flip slices every hour
  • Remove once they start to brown
  • Let cool completely and string with twine to create a garland

I added the remaining slices to a wooden bowl with pine cones, brass bells and a little greenery. Added in some cinnamon sticks which created an even more “holiday” look. I love the organic textures and colors this bowl filler creates.
