Now that the holidays are over I was on the hunt for some fresh and clean candles and came across some great finds at Target. I like them so much I had to share!
Fun fact: Did you know the first thing a guest notices when they walk into your home is the scent? Scent then sight.
Candles:
- Top pick: Hearth & Hand candle in the scent “Salt” it’s fresh and clean with a hint of that unisex cologne scent. I love it
- This is not a new scent so I may be the last to know how good this actually is. The name “Salt” always turned me off from even smelling it. But an interior designer I follow on YouTube raves about the Hearth & Hand candles so I was determined to find some good ones.
- Scent description: “refreshing and cool vibes of the sea”
- Another reason to love this candle line is the packaging seems to change with the seasons but scents are always in stock
- Threshold candle in the scent “Fresh Linen & Sea Salt”
- Available in 3 sizes
- Notes: Ocean, Linen
- Threshold candle in the scent “Coconut & Honey”
- 2 wooden crackling wicks, Light gray ceramic jar makes it fit in with home decor
- Notes: Coconut, Honey
- Threshold candle in the scent “Vetiver & Moss”
- 2 wooden crackling wicks, Dark green ceramic jar
- Notes: Miss, Vetiver
- I don’t know what moss smells like and I don’t know what Vetiver is. But in my opinion the scent is a mix of woodsy and fresh. Perfect for winter
5. Room spray: Casaluna room spray in the scent “Serenity” with sage and mint to encourage calm
Notes: Sage, Basil, Peppermint
I’m typically not a room spray person. They’re usually too overpowering and make me feel sick. But the scent of this is everything I love. Fresh, clean, and a hint of that masculine
I thought it would be nice to spritz on the curtains especially when the windows are open in the spring
This scent is also offered in a reed diffuser. I didn’t purchase this but I probably will for the bathroom. The glass jar is pretty and would look nice on a vanity or shelf while giving off a nice scent.
I also saw online they offer this scent in a candle version too!

- Santa brought me a diffuser and I love it. Not having to worry about leaving a flame burning when you leave the house is a game changer since I’ve been know to do that once or twice whoops…
